RasppberryPi GPIO support

OverviewWikiNewsReleasesVersionsLatest

Project Description

The Raspberry Pi has a useful set of gpio pins to which we can attached a wide range of devices, inputs and sensors. This package provides support for many of them. The original version was written by Doug McPherson to use a home-brew library. This version has been hacked up to use the pigpio library (see http://abyz.me.uk/rpi/pigpio/) which is now part of the standard Raspbian distribution. Remember to start the pigpiod daemon with`sudo pigpiod`. You must install the FFI-Pools and FFI-Kernel packages before this; see http://source.squeakfoundation.org/FFI for the package. If you are running a Squeak 5.3 based image you *must* load 'FFI-Pools-TorstenBergmann.4'and 'FFI-Kernel-nice.68'. If you are running a Squeak 6alpha image, there seems to be a problem caused by changes to the FFI that need fixing soon.
