SVI is a text editor for squeak that can be used in place of the PluggableTextMorph. SVI features extensive support for VIM and Emacs modes and commands. SVI also has many enhancements for navigating and browsing the squeak image.
The latest version of SVI for Squeak 3.9 is here. SVI seems to work pretty well with Squeak 4.0, not so much with Squeak 4.1.

When you install SVI, please execute the following two lines:
SVI openReadme.
SVI openSVIDocs.
The readme contains some information required to get things working, As well as instructions for using eCompletion, omni browser, and/or shout with SVI.
